The national code of practice for construction induction training, which is an advisory document, provides an option for repeat training if a person leaves the industry for more than two years, or, if the employer considers repeat training necessary.

Hence, It may be the case that some employers require repeat induction training, in accordance with the code, as part of safety and health management processes.

In New South Wales, the WorkCover Authority currently state that the White Card ceases to be current if you have not carried out construction work for any consecutive period of two years or more. For further information please refer NSW WorkCover or contact us for more information.
